There are a number of Splatoon 3 badges that players can unlock to display on their in-game Splashtags. Players can unlock badges through every type of gameplay that this game has to offer, from shopping to online multiplayer battles to the Splatoon 3 Return of the Mammalians single-player mode. Here’s an overview of all the Splatoon 3 badges and how to unlock them.
- Here are all of the Splatoon 3 amiibo unlock details.
Splatoon 3 Boss Salmonid Badges
There are three different badges available for every type of Boss Salmonid the player can encounter in Splatoon 3 Salmon Run Next Wave. Each Boss Salmonid has a corresponding normal, silver, and gold badge.
Getting the normal badge will require splatting the specified Boss Salmonid 100 times. Meanwhile, it takes 1,000 splats to get silver and 10,000 splats to get gold. Here are all of the Boss Salmonids that players can collect badges for:
- Big Shot
- Drizzler
- Fish Stick
- Flipper-Flopper
- Flyfish
- Maws
- Scrapper
- Slammin’ Lid
- Steel Eel
- Steelhead
- Stinger
Weapon Badges
Every single weapon in Splatoon 3 has a corresponding badge based on the Freshness level of that weapon. Players can raise the Freshness level of a weapon by inking a certain amount of turf with that weapon. To get a four-star weapon badge, players must ink 160,000 points worth of turf. For a five-star badge, that number rises to 1,160,000 points worth of turf.
Players can also earn badges for every special weapon, although these badges function differently than for the regular weapons. Like with the Boss Salmonid badges, there are three levels for each special badge: normal, silver, and gold. Obtaining the first tier of a special badge requires winning 30 battles while using a weapon set that includes the specified special. It then takes 180 wins to get silver and 1,200 wins to get gold.
Gear Badges
Players can also strive to earn Splatoon 3 badges based on the gear they have equipped. Every brand of gear in this game has two tiers of corresponding badges: normal and gold. The players will receive the regular badge after hitting over 30 rarity stars for that gear type across their inventory. They can also get a gold badge if they reach over 100 rarity stars.
