Star Wars Battlefront isn’t all about the shooting and the swinging colourful lightsabers, no, it’s actually a lot deeper than we ever imagined it could be.
If you boot up your copy of Star Wars Battlefront come release day but don’t feel like killing Stormtroopers or Rebels, then you can take a relaxing ride in a speeder biker. Well, it won’t be that relaxing as those things go at break-neck speeds.
Confirmed in the latest issue of Official PlayStation Magazine, Star Wars Battlefront will allow you to race speeder bikes across the dense forests of Endor. Will you crash and burn? Most probably, but it’ll be a laugh, won’t it?
That’s not all, either. There’s also crash courses for wannabe X-Wing pilots where you’ll be able to take to the skies with training wheels (not actual training wheels) and learn the ropes and take on challenges to get you ready for aerial combat. There’s also a bunch of trials that see you attempt to trip AT-AT’s. You can choose to play these trials all by your Obi-Wan, against bots or with a friend in co-op.
We, along with others, were a little worried that Star Wars Battlefront’s offerings would be a little sparse for solo-players but it looks like our worries may have been alleviated, even if it is only by a small amount.
