We’ve previously spoken out quite rashly about our thoughts on Activision’s decision to bring back gaming’s longest skating franchise with Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5. We’ve been cautiously optimistic, we’ve been disappointed and we’ve been praying for a miracle.
Unfortunately our prayers seem to be going unanswered. Fair enough really – famine and war take priority over gaming. But it doesn’t mean we’re too happy with what we’ve seen so far.
Activision has released a brand new trailer for Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 and in all honesty, it doesn’t really do much to get us throwing our money at pre-orders. The animations look pretty flat, the graphics are uninspired and the lack of publicly available information on the game is also causing us to shake in our skates.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 will release on September 29th for the Xbox One, PS4, PS3 and Xbox 360. If you’re genuinely interested then you can pre-order your copy here to get some Amazon exclusive DLC.
Below is a small gallery of images and the trailer. Leave your thoughts down in the comments – but try not to be too negative, we’ve already had a rough time just watching the trailer ourselves.
