Earlier this year, Ubisoft presented TrackMania Turbo and announced its release for the PS4, Xbox One and PC. Pre-orders went live more or less straight away and the game was priced at a reasonable $39.99.
Today, Amazon has decided – for reasons unknown – to slash the price of the PS4 edition down to an even more palatable $29.99. Strangely, the Xbox One and PC editions are still full-priced – though there’s a good chance that Amazon will give them a knock down at some point, too.
TrackMania originally released on the Nintendo DS, but the new-release has been given a graphical overhaul to really make it shine on the the next-gen consoles, as well as the PC. There’s new game modes to test your reflexes on and there’s also the new feature of having procedurally generated tracks to zip along.
It was a good effort from Ubisoft on the DS and we’re confident it’ll be a splendid game when it finally releases on PS4, Xbox One and PC this November 26th in the UK and EU and December 1st in North America. Mind you, that December 1st release date also pits it against Ubisoft’s very own Rainbow Six Siege which was recently delayed – though we doubt there’ll be much competition between the two.
