The Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End multiplayer beta was supposed to be the perfect way to kick off the weekend, as it was set to go live on Friday, December 4th. The good news is that you’ll be able to get that Friday feeling a whole day earlier. PlayStation Europe has announced that the beta servers will go live in the UK and Europe on December 3rd. Smashing stuff!
At the moment, we’re not sure if this means North Americans are getting stiffed by Sony, but it does look likely that North American players will have to wait until Friday to access the Uncharted 4 multiplayer beta. We’ll post an update as more information becomes available.
As for how you actually access the beta, well, you’re going to need a copy of Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, or at least a digital version of the game installed on your PS4. It seems that the Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection will then be updated to include the Uncharted 4 beta in the main menu. You’ll still need at least one active save from the remaster trilogy, but you won’t need any codes, vouchers, voodoo, etc.
So, the beta is going live in the UK and Europe at 15:00 GMT. We’ll see you there. Chumps.
