Do you know who Nolan North is? Probably, even if you don’t know his face the chances are that you’d recognise his voice in heartbeat, well, if you play video games a little.
North has lent his larynx to a ton of games, including Assassin’s Creed, Uncharted, Call of Duty, Halo and many more. At this point in time it’s getting hard to find a popular mainstream video-game franchise that he hasn’t featured in.
That’s not going to change anytime soon, either. The man of many voices has let slip that he’s actually working on another “big, big project” with Warner Bros Entertainment. It’s not the first time that he’s been under Warner Bros’ employ – he recently did some voice work in Batman: Arkham Knight as well as a small role in Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, both of which were published by Warner.
He’s not giving anything away at the moment, but the likeable chap did say “that’ll be another ten years of my life” when talking about the unannounced game. By the sounds of it, it looks like Nolan North will be voicing a character in a new multi-game franchise for Warner, but without any solid details we can’t even begin to speculate what that might be.
Who’re we kidding – here’s our best/worst guesses:
- Superman: The Action Packed Open World Video Game
- Justice League: The Role Playing Video Game Also Set in an Open World
- Bugs Bunny -The Return of the Bugs: A Gritty Reboot in Yet Another Open World
- Space Jam: The New Annual Sports Franchise That You’ll Buy Every Year
Alright, enough jokes; what do you think Warner Bros could be working on? It has an extensive list of properties in its portfolio, so go mental and speculate to your heart’s content.
