Sony recently announced a price-cut for the PS4 in Asia, Japan and North America, but we’re still waiting on hearing whether the UK and Europe will get a similar offer and whether Microsoft will respond by giving gamers more reason to shop around.
The price-cut of the PS4 in North America was well received by most, but there’s still some cracking deals going around and, if you look in the right places, you’ll find some deals that put the RRP to shame.
eBay store Monoprice is flogging the console along with Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection for just $309.99 which is a fully $40 lower than the new RRP. Not a bad deal, especially with Christmas just around the corner.
For reference, Amazon is still selling the same 500GB PS4 bundle for the RRP of $349.99, as are most other outlets. How this one can afford to ship these at such a good price is beyond us, but we’re not complaining.
Expect more great deals in the run up to Christmas, where we fully expect every retailer to kick the RRP down, or at least offer more value with bundles that include extra games, controllers, and the like.
Is this the biting point for you, or are you seriously still waiting for the next-gen machines to go sub $200?
