How To Get Onions in New World?
Onions are a key ingredient in many cooking recipes in New World. Unfortunately, Onions are very scarce in New World and hard to come by. So much so that many players are left wondering Where can I get Onions?
Onions exclusively come from Provisions Crates and Provisions Stockpiles. In each of these chests, you can get 3-4 Onions. Provision crates have a 60 minute respawn timer, so remember this when you are planning your farming routes. Onions will only appear in provisions in Edengrove, First Light, and Cutlass Keys.
Where are Onions in New World?
Since Onions are only available in Edengrove, First Light, and Cutlass Keys, you will need to go to those regions specifically to find it. In the following section, we show the best paths to follow to loot all the provision crates you can.
First Light – Where to Get Onions in New World
First Light has provisions crates that yield Cauliflower, Onion, and Melon, among other meals and recipes including milk. Either head up from First Light Town, or fast travel to the north shrine and hit this path:
Cutlass Keys – Where to Get Onions in New World
Cutlass Keys has provisions crates that yield Orange, Tomato, and Onion, among other meals and recipes including milk. In Cutlass Keys, you can head directly south of Cutlass Keys Town and follow this easy circuit to hit a massive amount of provision crates. Finish up either at the fast travel shrine close to Fort Cutlass Keys, or travel the rest of the way back to town.
Edengrove – Where to Get Onions in New World
Edengrove has provisions crates that yield Orange, Onion, and Cauliflower, among other meals and recipes including milk. You can start at the south outpost and head north through the spiral to get 5 provision crates. Another option is 4 crates close to the outpost just to the northeast. The final option is south near the boarder of Weaver’s Fen.
